Guest Photography and Video Policy
Commercial Photography
Commercial photography is prohibited at the museum, unless the guest first obtains written permission from the museum. Commercial photography includes photos or videos taken for a fee or for sale or for any purpose other than private personal use.
Personal Photography
Guests may use handheld or cellphone cameras to take photographs or videos of the public spaces at the museum. Guests may not:
- Sell, publish, distribute, or use the photos or videos for any commercial purpose
- Use flash photography in any exhibit space of the museum
- Use tripods or selfie sticks in the museum
- Take photos or videos intended for bridal or engagement announcements or to advertise or promote any personal event, website, or business
- Take photos or videos of museum staff or other guests without their consent.
Museum of the Bible reserves the right to deny any person permission to photograph or record video on the museum premises for any reason.
Photos Taken by Museum Staff
Entrance into the museum by any person constitutes consent for such person to be photographed and/or videotaped by museum staff. The museum may use any such photo or video in museum educational or promotional materials, without compensation to the person.
