Join us as we open our 2024 Easter exhibit, Ecce Homo: Behold the Man.
Moments before his crucifixion, Jesus was tortured and forced to stand trial. Pontius Pilate brought him before the angry crowd and declared, “Behold the man!”—later translated into Latin as “Ecce Homo.” This exhibition explores the works of 21 artists spanning five centuries who have visualized this moment of Christ’s passion.
The opening event will include remarks by Chief Curatorial Officer Jeff Kloha, exhibit curator Amy Van Dyke, and the founder of Christians in the Visual Arts and former board member at the Museum of Biblical Art, Sandra Bowden. It will conclude with the official opening of the exhibit.
Join us for this opening event to begin your Easter season.
