Ecce Homo: Behold the Man

Moments before the crucifixion, the Roman ruler Pontius Pilate brings Jesus out in a crown of thorns and says before the angry crowd, “Behold the man!”—later translated in Latin as “Ecce Homo.” Witness the climactic moment of Jesus’s trial through the minds of 21 artists who honored the profound influence of the crucifixion.

Bethlehem Reborn: The Wonders of the Church of the Nativity

Dates: November 6, 2023–May 15, 2024

The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem marks the traditional birthplace of Jesus. During its 1,700-year history, it has survived invasions, regime changes, fire, and earthquakes. In 2013, the church was renovated to its former glory. See the process of the restoration and artist Yousef Zoughbi’s model of the Church of the Nativity as you explore Bethlehem "reborn. "

Stations of the Cross

Dates: March 1–April 8, 2024
LOCATION: GRAND HALL, FLOOR 1

Stations of the Cross is an interactive and spiritual art experience, based in a long tradition of the church, commemorating 14 events from the last hours of Jesus’s life. Created by renowned bronze sculptor Gib Singleton, each station is sculpted to convey a spiritual and emotional connection to the soul.

Via Dolorosa, or “Way of Sorrow” in Latin, is believed to be the path that Jesus took to the cross.

In this interactive story, follow our living history interpreters, who retell the Easter story as early followers of Christ, and join in the ancient cry of celebration—"Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!"

Join us for a captivating performance of the story of how Esther and Mordecai saved their people, celebrated each Purim.
