Explore Ancient Israel with Us

Join us and our special guests from the Israel Antiquities Authority for any of these fun-filled days exploring the archaeology of Israel. Travel back in time to ancient Israel and try your hand at some ancient crafts, such as designing a coin, mixing perfumes, creating ancient art, and more. You'll also hear presentations on famous sites and discoveries related to the biblical world and the many people and cultures who have inhabited it.

Our Education Department has designed days especially for students, families, and homeschoolers. Choose the type of day you want to attend and click the button to learn more. Then add the Dig Deep: Archaeological Discoveries to your museum ticket for that date at checkout.

The museum is also holding a series of lectures with specialists and experts from the Israel Antiquities Authority and other institutions to explore archaeology. Find the upcoming programs at the bottom of this page or on our events page. New lectures will be added throughout the year, so make sure to check back often.

These events and activities are offered in partnership with the Israel Antiquities Authority.
