The American Bible Society Bicentennial

"The American Bible Society is celebrating its Bicentennial Anniversary. . .having distributed over six-billion Bibles in its 200-year history—helping people all over the world engage with the Bible.
Despite its 200-year accomplishments, American Bible Society president, Roy Peterson said recently:

“I like to think that American Bible Society is a 200-year-old startup!”
. . .in leveraging technology and social media;
. . .in the development of Bible-based online games for teens;
. . .creating innovative ways to deliver the Bible to all regions of the world;

Roy Peterson says that in the next decade. . .they’re goal is 100-million Americans regularly engaged with the Bible and “100 percent of the world’s languages open for Bible translation.”"
