Oldest Living Religion

"An ancient people who have lived into modern times. Their religion is one of the world’s longest lasting!

Judaism is a religious tradition that's existed for nearly 2,500 years—whether Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, or others—holding widely diverse views, but finding common ground in the study of the law of Moses in the first five books of the Hebrew Bible.

Their ancestral origin is in Canaan—the biblical name describing what today is known as the state of Israel and the Palestinian territories.

And although Jerusalem has been called the “center of Jewish spirituality,” there has been no temple since it’s destruction in AD 70, or authority, no “Vatican-type” leadership or official Jewish religious headquarters.

Rabbis have been the “overseers” of the significant ceremonies and teachings of Jewish religious practice.

Judaism—preserving the teachings and traditions of the Hebrew Bible!"
