Dear Pope Francis: Questions from Children

"It’s the first children’s book written by Pope Francis—or any Pope for that matter: . . .and titled: “Dear Pope Francis: The Pope Answers Letters from Children Around the World!”

When the publisher invited children to come to the Vatican and ask the Pope questions, letters poured in from 29 countries in 14 languages.

“Is it hard being a Pope?
“What did God do before the world was created?”
“When you were a child, did you like dancing?”

Clearing enjoying his interaction with the children, Pope Francis responded, . . .“really a lot!—even the great King David danced.”

Pope Francis expressing his desire to engage children and youth with the Bible wrote in a prologue to a youth Bible: “The Bible is not meant to be placed on a shelf, but to be in your hands, to read often—every day, both on your own and together with others."
