The History Floor – This floor features many of the greatest discoveries associated with the biblical text, including some of the earliest known writings which date to the time traditionally associated with Abraham. Artifacts include Dead Sea Scroll fragments, some of the earliest known New Testament writings, numerous historical manuscripts, and first-edition Bibles.

The Narrative Floor – This area of the museum encompasses 50,000 square feet, and is dedicated to telling the stories of the Bible. It connects 21st century audiences to the Bible by taking them on a journey and inviting them to be a part of its stories.

The Impact Floor – This floor expresses the Bible’s immense influence- not only on cultures and various aspects of civilization, but also on the lives of individuals. Topics covered include the Bible’s influence on the arts, science, government, education, family, pop culture, and American history.

MOTB Curriculum

Highlights:

  • To book a group, patrons must submit an Online Group Reservation Form or contact our Group Reservations Department.
  • Groups of 10 or more require reservations to qualify for the special group incentives. By making a group reservation, you agree to pay our suggested group donation amount.
  • Reservations are on a first-come first-served basis.
  • All group reservations must be made at least one week in advance to qualify for the special group incentives and will require pre-payment.
  • Deposits are not required.
  • Final payment is due one week prior to the arrival date.
  • Acceptable forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, corporate check or money order. The Museum of the Bible will not accept purchase orders as a form of payment.
  • There will be no refund for no shows or unused tickets.
  • Any reductions to ticket counts must be made before the final payment. An increase in ticket counts can be made up to the day of the tour during the Group Reservation operating hours and are based on availability.
  • Groups can receive a full refund if cancelled more than one week in advance of their arrival date.
  • MOTB is unable to issue a refund to groups that cancel within one week of arrival, unless cancelled due to inclement weather or state of emergency.
  • School groups must have 1 chaperone for every 10 students. School groups that have the 1/10 ratio will receive free admission for the chaperones. Additional chaperones above the 1/10 ratio will agree to pay the suggested group donation for an adult.
