‘Ten Bibles that Changed The World’: New special video series by Museum of the Bible and Third Millennium Ministries

WASHINGTON — Museum of the Bible and Third Millennium Ministries announced a new partnership with a special video series, “Ten Bibles That Changed the World.” The series highlights the Bible’s influence on communities of faith and their surrounding cultures.

The series contains ten 30-minute lessons, one on each Bible, covering the history and background of the text along with a focus on at least one of the ways communities used it for worship, leadership development, ethical guidance, and service to their surrounding communities.

“Museum of the Bible and Thirdmill share a vision to engage all people with the transformative power of the Bible,” said Harry Hargrave, CEO of Museum of the Bible. “We are pleased to join with Thirdmill's 25 years of biblical education to continue to invite everyone to learn and experience the stories, impact and history of the Bible.”

Through the Ten Bibles curriculum, Museum of the Bible and Thirdmill can bring the artifacts of the museum and their impact into learning communities of faith leaders around the world. Students and faculty, pastors and lay leaders of training schools, Bible colleges, seminaries, Bible societies, missions agencies, house churches and church planting networks can visit the museum and learn about these Bibles and their impact.

“We are so excited to partner with Museum of the Bible to enrich our teaching with biblical artifacts and introduce the museum to schools, churches, and training institutions in our global network,” said Richard Pratt. “Thirdmill’s mission is simple but ambitious: Biblical Education. For the World. For Free. We want to make sure that every church leader has the opportunity to receive a sound biblical education.”

Over the past two decades, Thirdmill has developed a curriculum for schools, ministries and Bible societies. Thirdmill reaches across the world to provide leaders with accurate biblical education in their own language and land.
