Museum of the Bible Announces New Hours of Operation for Spring and Summer Visitors

Heavy Visitor Season Prompts Extended Hours 

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Museum of the Bible has adjusted its hours of operation to account for seasonal changes, with new hours to take effect April 1, 2018. The change comes during the Cherry Blossom Festival, the traditional start of tourist season in the nation’s capital.

Spring and summer bring an influx of tourists to Washington, D.C. and by adjusting the hours, Museum of the Bible can invite larger numbers of visitors to engage with the Bible as part of their visit to the city.

The museum encourages guests to plan their visit in advance by booking tickets at https://www.museumofthebible.org/tickets.

 

Museum of the Bible hours of operation:  

Museum Hours (July 1 - March 31)

 Member and Group Hours:          9 – 10 a.m. Monday - Saturday

General Public Hours:               10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily

 

Extended Spring Hours (April 1 – June 30)

Member and Group Hours:          9 – 10 a.m. Monday - Saturday

General Public Hours:               10 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily

 

Holidays

Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day

Close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve

Museum of the Bible opened to the public November 2017. Timed tickets to the 430,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art museum are available for both general admission and group reservations. Tickets are required for entry, are limited, and are available at: www.museumofthebible.org/tickets
