The Museum of the Bible announces its multi-faceted partnership with YouVersion, the creator of the popular Bible App that features 1,367 Bible versions in 1,007 languages and has been downloaded more than 230 million times and in every country in the world.

When the 430,000 square-foot Museum of the Bible opens its doors in Washington D.C. in November of 2017, the YouVersion partnership will be visible throughout the museum.

Israeli student, Bar Menashe, is the winner of Ashkelon’s Bible Bee. Menashe wins a trip to Washington D.C. where he will represent the city of Ashkelon in an international Bible Bee competition. “It is a great honor to win the Bible Bee and to represent the city of Ashkelon in the world," says Menashe, who is in the eighth grade at one of three comprehensive junior high schools in Ashkelon using the curriculum.

The 2016 Edwin M. Yamauchi Award for Excellence in Textual Studies is being awarded to two students from University of Edinburgh and Fuller Theological Seminary. The award, given annually by Museum of the Bible Scholars Initiative, is presented to young scholars who have demonstrated rare aptitude in biblical language studies, shown exceptional academic performance and are pursuing terminal degrees.

Museum of the Bible displayed six rare artifacts from their collection to guests of the Israeli Assembly’s annual Christian Solidarity Event and loaned a copy of what is likely the world’s oldest complete Hebrew prayerbook to the Israeli Embassy on Friday. The 430,000-square-foot Museum of the Bible, now under construction blocks from the U.S. Capitol and National Mall, will open its doors in late 2017.

Today Museum of the Bible announced a new partnership with Bible Gateway that makes the museum's daily one-minute radio feature, The Book, available on Bible Gateway's audio webpage. The audio content, currently airing on 350 radio stations nationwide, will be placed on the highest-trafficked Christian website, allowing users to deepen their interaction with the Bible.
