Gloria: Celebrate the Sounds of Christmas!

We know it's early, but we can't wait to celebrate Christmas with you this year at Museum of the Bible! We are already hard at work planning and preparing a whole slate of unique Christmas experiences for you and your family. Some of the fun includes an exclusive exhibition featuring bells from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, performances by local and national choirs, daily readings of the Christmas story, Christmas concerts with Point of Grace and the Gettys, and shopping our international Christmas market. And there's more on its way.

Keep checking back! We will be updating this page with new activities and events as we get closer to Christmas. And make sure to book your tickets for a Christmas season you'll never forget.

 Dates: November 25, 2022 – January 6, 2023

We will be closed Christmas Day (December 25).

Celebrate the Sounds of Christmas

The Bells of Bethlehem: Sounds from the Church of the Nativity

In co-operation with the Custody of the Holy Land, the Terra Sancta Museum in Jerusalem, and the Bethlehem Development Foundation, Museum of the Bible presents The Bells of Bethlehem: Sounds from the Church of the Nativity. The highlight of the exhibition will be six Crusader-era bells and part of the pipe organ from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. There will also be a scale model of the church on display so that guests can explore this sacred pilgrimage site. These objects have never been on display in the United States. Come celebrate the church that marks the site of Jesus's birth.

Gloria: The Christmas Tour

Kick off the Christmas season with 11-time Dove Award-winning and three-time Grammy-nominated group Point of Grace on The Gloria Tour! With 25 No. 1 songs and four Christmas albums over the span of their 30-year career, Point of Grace has made touring in December an annual tradition.  This year, the girls have asked their longtime friend singer/songwriter Mark Schultz to join them along with Andrew Greer, the co-host of Dinner Conversations with Mark Lowry. The Gloria Tour will be a night of laughter, carols, and your favorite Christmas songs that you won’t want to miss!

Sing! An Irish Christmas

Join us for Keith and Kristyn Getty live on the World Stage Theater. The Gettys and friends will be performing Sing! An Irish Christmas, a concert previously aired to millions on TV. Back by popular demand, the Gettys are here for only two nights, December 17–18, so make sure to get your tickets now!

Family Activities

Our Education Team is hard at work planning fun and engaging activities for you and your family this Christmas! Some of the fun includes workshops where you can make your own Nativity scenes and Christmas ornaments, as well as programs that illuminate different aspects of the Christmas story. There's even a special presentation exploring how Charles Dickens incorporated biblical allusions into his famous story, A Christmas Carol!

Check back often for details on program dates and times as we get closer to Christmas.
