The sukkah is a structure built for the Jewish Festival of Sukkot (Booths) which commemorates the time spent in the wilderness after their freedom from Egypt. It is traditional for Jewish families to eat, sing, and even sleep inside the sukkah.
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the Israelites, saying: On the fifteenth day of this seventh month and lasting seven days, there shall be the Festival of Booths to the LORD.
— Leviticus 23:33
We welcome you to visit our sukkah in our rooftop Biblical Garden to learn more about the Festival of Sukkot and the holidays that follow it. You can even enjoy a meal from our restaurant, Manna, in the sukkah.
