Head indoors for some summer fun with your family to explore the intersection of scripture and science in Museum of the Bible’s exhibition Scripture and Science: Our Universe, Ourselves, Our Place. At Family Fun Day, our educators at “Mission Command” will launch families on the Great Expedition, which will take you all over the museum and will grow your knowledge, skills, and understanding of our universe and your place in it all.
The race is on!
The Great Expedition is a competition similar to that on the popular CBS show, The Amazing Race. Your family will compete against other families to solve clues and complete tasks connected to our Scripture and Science exhibit. Along your journey toward the finish line, you will meet Copernicus and learn about our planetary orbit, astronomy, and cosmic balance. Natural earth cycles, biological discoveries, and philosophical debates encountered on the expedition will transform your understanding of the world, and understanding the anatomy of the human body, our biological inheritance, and technological advancements will renew your sense of purpose and potential impact.
This fun, full-day event will foster curiosity and critical thinking skills while deepening your connections with one another and the world around you. Sign your family up today and see if you make it to the prize at the winner’s circle.
To purchase your tickets to Scripture and Science Family Fun Day: The Great Expedition, select it as an add-on to your general admission ticket on July 12.
