Masada sits on the edge of the Judean desert, between Ein Gedi and Sodom, on cliffs 1,300 feet above the Dead Sea. Masada’s tour guide Ami Braun and archeologist Orit Bortnik will take guests back in time to the year AD 73 to relive the story of the Jewish Zealots, the Sicarii, who so vehemently opposed Roman occupation of Judaea that they chose death over slavery.
