He established the church in 1976, and, as the community grew, began broadcasting The Urban Alternative. Today, Oak Cliff has nearly 10,000 members and Evans’s radio program airs around the world. This study Bible is the product of Evans’s fifty years of experience as a minister and pastor, containing commentary and notes that help teach a “Kingdom-oriented mindset,” which has been a theme of his ministry.
