The iconic phrase heard in most sermons Billy Graham preached was, “The Bible says. . .” So it’s fitting that his story is told in the Billy Graham exhibition at Museum of the Bible under the banner: “Pilgrim Preacher: Billy Graham, the Bible, and the Challenges of the Modern World,” on display through January 2019. In his 70-plus years of ministry, Billy Graham preached from the Bible to more live audiences than anyone in history—70 million people in 50 countries. And for 60 years his voice was heard daily on the “Hour of Decision” radio program. Billy Graham once said: “Most books are born, live a few short years, then go the way of all the earth; they’re forgotten. But not the Bible!"
