Bible-Minded Cities in 2017

If you live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, you’re living in the #1 Bible-minded city in America! For the second year in a row! Each year the Barna Group and the American Bible Association rank the top 100 Bible-minded cities by region and city.

This year’s top five cities are: Chattanooga, Tennessee; the Birmingham/Anniston/Tuscaloosa area of Alabama; Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia; Tri-Cities, Tennessee; and Shreveport, Louisiana. So what qualifies as a Bible-minded city? In this study, the person interviewed is considered Bible-minded if they have read the Bible in the past seven days and agree strongly in the accuracy of the Bible!

Engage with the Bible—in every sphere of its influence! Brought to you by Museum of the Bible—opening this November in Washington, DC. Let’s start a new conversation around the Bible in cities all over the world!
