A Bible Edition for Young Adults

No other book in history has had such an influence on the world as the Bible, and yet there was a realization in the Catholic Church that young people were unfamiliar with their doctrine and the Bible!
To address the concern, an edition of the Bible was designed as part of the widely popular YOUCAT series for youth and young adults.

A unique collaboration of fifty-two young adults—church affiliated, un-churched, Catholic, and Protestant—served as an advisory team to the authors to “help young people follow the ‘story’ of the Bible,” including introductions to the books of the Bible, easy-to-understand commentaries from top Bible teachers, photos, illustrations, side-bar quotes, and a preface from Pope Francis, who wrote: “You are holding something divine in your hands: a book that is like a fire. . .a book through which God speaks!”
