Closed on Sundays

After church how about a Chick-Fil-A grilled chicken sandwich and an order of fries?

If it’s Sunday—it’s not happening!

The “closed on Sunday” sign follows the policy of Chick-Fil-A’s founder, Truett Cathey—to give employees more time with their family. Sunday is a day most food business experts agree is one of the “best for business.”

And for the same reason, “Closed on Sunday” is on all 700 Hobby Lobby stores!

David Green, Founder of Hobby Lobby in his new book, “Giving it All Away and Getting it Back Again,” referring to Genesis 2:2, writes: “The idea of a day of rest is centuries old. There’s a rhythm built into the created order. Work no more than six days, then take one off. This rhythm should not be ignored.”

The Bible—its influence in every aspect of life and work!
