Technology—a Launching Point to Engage with the Bible!

Technology is making it possible for millions of people to access the Bible—many for the first time!

What used to take years, distributing Bibles to new people groups, can now be done almost instantly, even in the remotest areas of the world.

YouVersion is a popular mobile Bible app. It has 1200+ versions of the Bible available in 900+ languages—with 50 new Bible versions being developed and 39 new languages added through partnerships with Bible societies around the world.

Museum of the Bible is also using technology to engage more people with the Bible, such as through an interactive textbook using virtual reality. Museum of the Bible, which will open in Washington, DC, in November 2017, will be one of the most technologically advanced museums of the world.
