Museum of the Bible - Year Two

Thousands of people are experiencing one of the most influential and beloved books of all time—the Bible! On November 17, 2017, Museum of the Bible opened in Washington, D.C.—just blocks from the Capitol. A place where everyone can engage with the Bible—its history, narratives, and impact over the centuries! Through personal exploration, interactive media and technology, the Bible comes to life in new ways. The museum features archaeological discoveries from ancient Israel, medieval biblical manuscripts, and modern Bibles in thousands of languages. The entrance features huge glass panels—with Psalm 19 translated in 16 languages from Greek to Hindi. And inscribed on the walls of the Grand Hall is Psalm 119:105: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path."
