But did you know? He’s part of a group of high-profile players on the PGA Tour who meet regularly for Bible studies?

Along with Watson, Rickie Fowler, Matt Kuchar, Zach Johnson, Ben Crane and Michael Simpson are just some of the regulars in a group that numbers from 16 to 50 players attending on any given week.

Bubba says, “For me it’s a way to get back connected with the Bible. . .”

Ben Crane said: “We do a player’s devotional. . .as a way of getting our hearts warmed up before we play.”

After securing his first major title, Michael Simpson said: “My verse that week was 2nd Corinthians 12:9: ‘My grace is sufficient for you for my powers are made perfect in weakness.’”
